What It Is
A Phone Bot answers your inbound calls. Technically, this is a voice agent, but we call it a Phone Bot because that is plain English and what our customers actually think of it as.
It answers the phone, talks to callers, and handles real requests in real time. It is especially useful after hours and during busy periods: it answers common questions, captures and qualifies leads, and transfers important calls when needed. You stop missing calls without needing someone sitting by the phone.

Why This Is Hard
Phone interactions are less forgiving than chat. Responses have to be immediate and natural. Even a 3 second delay sounds unnatural. Callers expect clarity, not hesitation. Conversations can go in unexpected directions, and mistakes are heard, not skimmed over.
On top of that, missed calls are largely invisible. You often have no idea what was lost or who called. Staff availability does not scale with call volume. And answering calls pulls people away from core work.
