Authava Affiliates
Getting Started
Q: How do I become an affiliate?
Reach out to a member of the Authava team.
Our affiliate network is invite-only. We work exclusively with trusted partners we can stand behind.
Referrals
Q: What are the sales territories for affiliates?
Stay within your direct network of trusted contacts—ideally people you are already doing business with where a chatbot or growth report would genuinely help them. We do not encourage mass marketing to strangers, which goes against the spirit of the program.
Q: Can I refer businesses outside my immediate network?
The program is designed for trusted network introductions. Broad cold marketing or mass outreach is discouraged.
Q: Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?
No. Affiliates may refer as many customers as they like within their trusted network.
Q: As an affiliate, do I manage or support my referral’s bot?
No. An affiliate simply makes the introduction. You are not responsible for setup, support, or ongoing management. The referral’s bot is maintained either by the client through the self-service portal, or by the Authava Managed Services team.
Q: What is expected of me after launch?
Nothing required. Your role is the introduction.
That said, to help grow the relationship (and keep earning on ongoing revenue and upsells):
- Occasionally check in with your client to make sure things are going well and they’re not suffering in silence.
- Share new features that may be a fit for their needs (you earn a percentage on any expansion).
- Share client feature requests with us such that would help them so we can better prioritize our roadmap.
Attribution
Q: What counts as a successful referral?
A referral is considered successful once the referred customer signs up and completes their first payment.
Q: Can multiple affiliates claim the same referral?
No. Affiliates are vetted and approved by the Authava team, and the program is designed for introductions within a person’s trusted network. Because of this, the likelihood of two affiliates referring the same client is extremely low. And if it happened, we would solve it.
Earnings
Q: Why is the payout in perpetuity?
We believe in aligning incentives. If your referral continues using Authava each month, you continue receiving a payout each month. This also creates a natural reason to occasionally check in and make sure everything is going well.
Q: How much money can I reasonably make as an affiliate?
Affiliates earn 15% of total revenue, including one-time setup fees, ongoing monthly subscriptions, and future upgrades. Our model allows someone to start with a small DIY bot and later upgrade to more advanced modules (scheduling, quoting, etc.). If your referral upgrades later, you continue receiving 15% of those upgrades as well.
Q: How long does the referral relationship last?
As long as the referred customer remains an active Authava customer, the affiliate continues receiving their revenue share.
Q: Logistically, how and when am I paid?
Affiliates are paid automatically via Stripe Connect. When a referred subscription pays, Stripe automatically distributes your share.

My Clients
Q: My clients deserve the best. How will this benefit them?
We built Authava to bring enterprise-level capabilities to small businesses.
We operate as a strategy partner, not just a tool:
- We help set the bot up correctly
- We improve it over time based on real usage
- We turn conversations into useful insights
We started in FinTech, which is highly regulated and demanding. That carries into everything we build.
We offer:
- DIY for a simple starting point
- Managed services when it needs to be done right
- Reasonable pricing focused on long-term retention
- Full white-label support for your client’s brand

Q: Why is Authava’s retention rate so high?
Over the last 12 months, retention for managed services and affiliates is 100 percent as of April 2026. No client has left. Several clients switched from other bot providers to Authava.
Why:
- We focus on good-fit clients from the start. If a bot is not the right solution, we say that upfront and do not pursue it.
- Most clients come through trusted relationships, either directly or through an affiliate, which leads to better alignment and long-term outcomes.
- We have enterprise-level capabilities, so small businesses do not outgrow us and can expand over time without switching platforms.
- We are not built around forced upsells. Clients grow based on what they actually need.
- We want clients to refer their own network, so we prioritize long-term success over short-term wins.
Q: My website’s provider has a bot. Why not just use that?
- Their platform charges for the bot and keeps all of it. You get no upside.
- The bot still needs to be trained. It will not work well by just scraping pages.
- Their bots are infrastructure, not a strategy partner.
- Most lack key capabilities your client will eventually need.
This includes:
- Layered knowledge for accuracy
- Calling external APIs during conversations
- Supporting authenticated users
- Working across multiple systems like a website and CRM
Q: What if my client has advanced needs?
Great—that’s where we shine. We recommend splitting into two phases:
- Phase 1: Deploy a standard bot and capture immediate value
- Phase 2: Layer in advanced functionality as needed
We strongly suggest getting a bot out first and listening to real user questions. This ensures advanced features are based on actual data, not speculation.
